Weapon Setup in Your Home

You may use either vertical or horizontal setup attached to a solid wall or frame element behind the wall. CROSSBAR is bolted with 2 One-Way screws into a minimum 2" x 4" stud behind the wall. Two LARGE WASHERS provide the necessary clearance between the wall and CROSSBAR so gun lock can slide up and down to a suitable height to block weapon removal. GUN LOCK height on CROSSBAR is adjusted by setting/releasing an internal set screw with a 5/32"(4 mm) ALLEN KEY that positions GUN LOCK at a height you select on FLAT BAR. BUTT PLATE is bolted to the floor with 2 or 3 screws for the butt stock of the weapon. Preferred location for the setup is in a corner of the closet where limited space also prevents anybody to apply enough force to brake the whole setup from the stud/wall. Your setup is as strong as the surface you are using for the mount. |
